At present, our UK-qualified teachers teach the British curriculum across three time zones, to accommodate our students and their families lifestyles:
– UK (GMT/BST)
– Middle East (GST/GMT +4)
– Southeast Asia (GMT +7).
We are dedicated to offering our students the flexibility they need to thrive in education, and there may be some students whose lifestyle means that studying on their own time zone is too restrictive. That is why no matter where you are in the world, students can study on any of the three time zones, or even do a mixed approach.
Please speak to one of our admissions specialists who will be able to provide advice and assist you in tailoring your child’s timetable to suit their individual needs.
At present, years 9-13 (last year of Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level) for students aged 13-19, will be taught on the Southeast Asia timetable.
Yes, your child can study with King’s InterHigh from the age of 7 years old, with the option of studying on a UK or Middle East (GST/GMT +4) timetable. They can then transfer over to the Southeast Asia timetable for their IGCSEs and A Levels or remain on the timetable they are on.
We are a non-selective school which means we are open to all students and do not require any entry tests. However, students must be fluent in English writing, reading, and speaking to study with us.
Yes, all lessons will be live, taught on a timetable that is on the GMT+7 time zone. Classes will typically be between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Yes, all lessons and communication from King’s InterHigh will be in English and so it is important that your child feels confident studying in English.
In order for your child to get the best experience and education with King’s InterHigh we do require that they are already comfortable and able to study in English.
Yes, all our teachers are specialists in their subjects and are UK qualified.
Exams must be sat at exam centres conveniently offered in most countries through private centres or the British Council. Please click one of the links below for more information on finding an exam centre near you.

Laws differ from country to country for online education. Please check your country’s government education department website or get in touch with them directly.
We follow the IGCSE and A level courses (Years 10-13) of the British curriculum. Examinations are taken at the end of year 11 for IGCSE and year 13 for A Levels. The examination awarding group issue results certificates directly to students, and these are internationally recognised qualifications.
We will also issue, upon request, leavers transcripts.
If you have a university in mind, then we advise that you check with them directly what their entry requirements are.
If needed, students can enrol in a year group one year above or below their age. If you want to enrol your child in a school year more than one year above or below their age, please contact our admissions team on: admissions@interhigh.co.uk.
The Southeast Asia timetable begins the next academic year in September 2024, but you can enrol now to get your child ready to start. However, if you would like your child to start their studies sooner, we offer UK (GMT) and Middle East (GST/GMT+4) timetables that may be suitable.
All our lessons are recorded and so if your child is joining halfway through an academic year, there is the possibility for them to catch up. However, starting later in the academic year is not always advisable. You can discuss this and any questions you may have with our expert admissions team.
Once you have chosen your timetable, the enrolment process can take up to 2 weeks to complete, but we aim to get your child fully enrolled within 48 hours. This timeframe is dependent on how quickly you submit all required documents and fees, and what time of the year you enrol – peak season can take longer due to the number of students joining.
We highly recommend registering at least one – two weeks before your intended start date, so for September, we would recommend you enrol at the start of August at the very latest.
With the King’s InterHigh parent portal, tracking your child’s progress is made simple. You can see your child’s attendance and reports through a personalised dashboard and with an Observer account on the learning platform, you’ll also be able to see your child’s assignment grades and teacher feedback.
IGCSEs and A Levels are highly respected by sixth forms, colleges, universities, and employers around the world. Alongside high-level academic understanding, these qualifications teach a wide range of transferrable skills that can be applied to the world of work or higher education.
All universities in the UK accept IGCSE and A Level qualifications. Most top international universities also accept IGCSEs and A Levels, but we advise checking the admission requirements for your child’s university of choice.
The British Curriculum core subjects (English, Maths and Science) are taught across the three timetable time zones, the only difference is the additional subjects on offer to add to your studies. This can vary.
However, students are able to adopt a hybrid approach and study subjects on different timetables, as long as there are no clashes. This gives students greater flexibility to study the subjects they want, when they want.
At present we only teach British Curriculum, and fluency in English is required in order to study with us.
As part of the Inspired Education Group, we offer opportunities throughout the year for our students from around to the world to meet face to face with their peers. This includes summer camps and field trips at certain locations. We encourage our parent ambassadors to organise local trips and events.
Yes, this is at the core of our school. We are an international school with students from all over the world. Our students are encouraged to interact during live lessons and there are also opportunities for them to engage with one another in afterschool virtual clubs and activities.
Students from anywhere in the world can join the Southeast Asia timetable, it is not exclusive to the Southeast Asia region. It all depends on your lifestyle and commitments outside of education.
Our school is home to a vibrant and multicultural community, representing a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. This includes our British qualified teaching staff, who have chosen to work in many countries across the globe to deliver the best possible education, and ensuring that we continue to be culturally in tune with our international families.
We embrace our diverse communities and strive to celebrate important holidays and celebrations. You will see in our calendars, various acknowledgements of these days where we have a significant number of students observing these holidays and celebrations. On some occasions, we will remain open, however, we continue to offer recordings and independent work to ensure that any missed academic content is appropriately addressed and that your child’s learning journey remains uninterrupted.
If you have holidays of significance that may not appear on the calendars, you are able to report your child’s absence through the parent portal.
