"Because of the great teaching methods and teachers, I have been able to reach out for help without feeling shy. The teachers are always welcoming and encouraging which makes you feel more relaxed and ask for help."

Why did you join King’s InterHigh, and what has your learning journey with us meant to you?

I joined King’s InterHigh to go into science and later study medicine at University. Originally, I was homeschooled but it became difficult to study science. However, King’s InterHigh has taught me to be more focused in learning because Explore classes and extracurriculars have small tests that allow you to put your knowledge from the learn lessons to the test. I have also learned how to be more motivated to do tasks that may be difficult because I want good results.

What's something you've gained from King's InterHigh that's really helped you personally?

Because of the great teaching methods and teachers, I have been able to reach out for help without feeling shy. The teachers are always welcoming and encouraging which makes you feel more relaxed and ask for help.

Is there something you’ve learned from King’s InterHigh that’s special to online learning or your situation?

I have noticed the vast amounts of different cultures because King’s InterHigh is an international school that helps prevent stereotyping.

Has studying online allowed you to explore new interests?

Although I came to King’s InterHigh to study science, I have learned that I have much better analytical skills than mathematical skills and prefer studying literature and history.

What are your dreams for the future?

I don’t know exactly what I want to do yet, but I am interested in developing my analytical skills in English literature and history, which I will study at sixth form King’s InterHigh.
