King’s InterHigh teacher’s marathon run raises over £2,000 for charity
Congratulations to King’s InterHigh teacher Marilyn Rankin who completed the London Marathon to raise over £2,000 for charity.
Marilyn, who was raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of her friend, was among over 42,000 runners taking part in the 26.2 mile run, which weaves its way past many of the city’s world famous landmarks.
This was the fifth marathon she has taken part in having previously completed events in Auckland, Chicago, Newport and Dorset.
She completed Sunday’s marathon in a time of 5 hours and 4 minutes, raising £2,080 in the process.
