Who is the course designed for?
Our KS2 drama courses are designed to inspire students to explore the world around them creatively and imaginatively. Throughout the year, a series of topics are taught half termly, enthusing our students, but also developing their communication and interpersonal skills, raising their self- esteem and their self-confidence. We would like to equip our students with the key critical thinking, problem solving and creative skills they will use daily across all of their subjects, developing their curiosity and ability to research, present and deliver a project.
Finally, we aim to build strong foundations for our students as they progress to KS3, introducing them to the importance of social and historical context within various drama forms, mediums, genres, and the closer, analytical research and reflection that they will undertake at KS4.
