The timings of the school day depends on the timetable you choose. We offer a UK timetable which runs Monday – Friday 8:20-4:00 GMT time. Our Middle Eastern timetable operates on Gulf standard timing between 9:10-4:50 Monday – Friday. We have also newly introduced an Asia Pacific (APAC) timetable which runs Monday – Friday 8:30 -5:30 GMT +7. Please note our APAC timetable is only available for students who are Year 9, 10 and 12.
The amount of lessons per day depends on the Key Stage you are joining. If you are joining us on our core package on average you can expect KS2 3/4 hours a day, KS3 4/5 hours a day, KS4 4/5 hours a day, and KS5 3/4 hours a day.
We do not offer Physical Education at King’s InterHigh. However, we encourage our students to make the most out of their free periods within the school week if they would like to engage in Physical Activity.
We offer timetables across three regions to accommodate a range of time zones: All teachers across these time zones are British Qualified experienced teachers teaching across a universal timetable to ensure all students receive the best learning.
Most lessons are scheduled from 8:a.m to 5:30 p.m with breaks and free periods throughout the day.
King’s InterHigh follows the English curriculum, which is different to the education system used in Scotland. However, IGCSEs and A Levels are recognised by most schools in Scotland.
Timetables are tailored to each student. As such, we will not be able to provide you with a timetable until your child is enrolled in classes. If you’d like to know more about what a typical day might look like, contact us here: https://georgedk4.com/contact/
We appreciate that students may need to make changes to their timetable during the year, and we will try to accommodate this where possible. The first two course change requests are free, after which a nominal administration fee will apply.

King’s InterHigh offers a flexible approach to learning, making it perfect for students who may not be able to attend every lesson. All classes are recorded and uploaded for viewing at any time, 24/7. If learners miss a class, they’re free to watch the lesson recording at any time. Students can also email their teachers directly for additional guidance if needed.
Most subjects involve three 40-minute lessons per week, for a total of two hours per subject. Total classes per week depend on how many subjects a student is taking. For example, those taking seven subjects will have around 21 lessons per week, or 4 to 5 each day. Students will also take part in tutor group sessions and optional exercise classes.
We offer two timetables to accommodate a range of time zones: one which follows British time (GMT) and one which follows Middle Eastern time (GST).
Most lessons are scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., with breaks and free periods throughout the day. For those following the Middle Eastern time (GST), lessons begin at 09:30am.
