Year 6 learners do not sit SATs at King’s InterHigh.
Instead, our teachers assess students each week through quizzes and short tests. At the end of each topic, students complete a longer assessment (for example, a written assignment) which tests their understanding in-depth. These informal assessments are designed to track progress and tailor learning accordingly without causing stress to our students.
Students must be fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking to study at King’s InterHigh.
King’s InterHigh is a non-selective school. As such, we are open to all learners and we do not require any minimum grades or entry assessments.
This applies to all year groups and pathways except the IB Diploma Programme. The IBDP requires at least 7 GCSEs or IGCSEs (including English and Mathematics) at grade 6 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
Note that students must also be fluent in English writing, reading, and speaking to study with us.
King’s InterHigh is a non-selective school. Currently, A Levels are available to all students with no minimum requirements.
