I don’t know where I would be now if it wasn’t for King's InterHigh giving me the opportunity to finally start learning again.
“Fortunately, I discovered King's Interhigh! After my first day at this online school I felt so relieved to finally be able to access education.”
Soon after starting secondary school in 2007 I developed severe social anxiety disorder. For the next 3 years my attendance was near null and as a girl who wanted to push herself academically I found this very frustrating. By 2010 my situation had not improved and I was beginning to lose hope of gaining any GCSES let alone going to university to become a doctor as I had always dreamed of.
Fortunately, I discovered King’s InterHigh! After my first day at this online school I felt so relieved to finally be able to access education. The teaching was fantastic, I acquired 8 good International GCSES. I was very pleased with this as my previous school had told me I would only be allowed to sit 4 GCSES due to my poor attendance. I don’t know where I would be now if it wasn’t for King’s InterHigh giving me the opportunity to finally start learning again. It also gave me the confidence and space that I needed to start recovering from my anxiety disorder.
Preparing for a better future…
With my GCSES I was able to study A Levels at a local college. I am now living in London as a student studying biomedicine at Queen Mary University, and am currently applying to study postgraduate entry medicine to become a doctor. Thank you King’s InterHigh!
